Social responsibility

We believe that our social responsibility should encourage us to focus on the protection of rights, prioritising consensual conflict resolution and paying special attention to persons in vulnerable situations, and to apply the principles of transparency and fairness in contractual relations and all other types of relationships.

We are aware that in a society that is constantly and rapidly evolving, the re-establishment of conditions based on mutual trust is the first step for people, communities, companies and institutions to find effective protection of their rights in the law and to ensure a more just and peaceful coexistence for a better world to live in.

Some team members are also willing to provide pro-bono assistance to the most vulnerable and defenceless. We devote part of our time to the protection of unaccompanied foreign minors, as well as to the promotion of the protection of the rights of minors, in order to foster respect for the rights and interests of citizens also through participatory paths.

We are committed both to the training of young professionals through educational activities and to the provision of training courses aimed at enhancing the culture of reconciliation.

We are also dedicated to deepening international relations. Two team members are also part of the board of directors of the Dutch-Italian Business Club DIBA. The firm’s managing partner, Angela Mannaerts, also maintains close working relations with Invest Tuscany, a regional service that aims to attract and support foreign investors in Tuscany.

Following the damage to the famous Barcaccia Fountain in Piazza di Spagna (pictured here) due to vandalism in 2015, the firm undertook to contribute, with both its legal and organisational work, to the restoration work of two important fountains in the city of Rome, including the Bee Fountain, created by G.L. Bernini in 1644. The restoration work was carried out with funds raised by one of our lawyers together with five other eminent members of the Dutch community in Rome, and with the voluntary contribution of the Dutch construction group Janssen De Jong.
